Q: I have very little experience with yoga. Is that okay?

A: Yes, absolutely! Most of our classes are fit for beginners or can be modified accordingly. If you are feeling especially nervous about starting yoga, we offer Gentle Yoga every Tuesday and Thursday at 9:30 am.

Q: How much does it cost for one class and what forms of payment do you accept?

A: Your first class at the studio costs $5, with the following classes costing $10 per class. For a $5 discount, you can pay for 4 classes at once, only costing $35. We accept payments in the form of cash, check, card or Venmo.

Q: What should I bring to class?

A: All you need to bring to class is yourself! Many people bring a mat and a water bottle, but we provide mats, blocks, straps, and blankets free of charge if you do not have one.

Q: What should I wear?

A: It is best to wear loose or comfortable clothing that you can easily move around in.

Q: When should I arrive? Can I show up late?

A: Plan to arrive 5-10 minutes early so the class can start on time. We ask you to refrain from arriving late, as that may disrupt the class. So try your very best to come early or on time.

Q: Do I have to sign up for a class ahead of time?

A: You do not have to sign up for a class ahead of time. Everything that you need to take care of can be done at the studio before the class begins.

Q: I am not flexible. Can I do yoga?

A: You most definitely can do yoga without a great deal of flexibility! Yoga will allow you to deepen your flexibility, but even then, that is not the purpose of yoga. In yoga, we are challenged to focus on our breath and listen to our bodies.

Q: I have an injury. Can I still practice yoga?

A: Please consult your doctor or physician before practicing yoga. If it is safe for you to practice, we encourage you to be mindful of your body and not push past your abilities.
